Fanta turned up the beat at Glendale Secondary School

Glendale Secondary School was the proud winner of the Fanta Collect a Cap competition in the Western Cape after they collected 1714 caps during 2014. The reward for their efforts was a day filled with dance as the Fanta Turn-Up 2014 Experience made their way to the school grounds. Peninsula Beverage Company (PenBev – local bottler and distributer of The Coca-Cola Company products in the Western and Northern Cape) was there to keep the teenagers refreshed and entertained.

The students were spoiled from beginning to end, receiving an ice cold Fanta and Fanta Snap Back cap on arrival. Fanta triggered their imagination with a giant orange entrance tunnel complete with funny mirrors and a wall of bubbles.

The excitement didn’t stop there as BMX tricksters showed off their skills with jaw dropping stunts. The festivities continued with human beat boxing and the talented Fanta Dance Crew entertaining the young audience. DJ Whiskey, DJ Shimza and Afrikaans Ruk were also there to keep the beats flowing.

“Through this activation, we want to emphasise our support for local talent and community engagement, and we hope this is a great start to the students’ holiday season where they can put their books away and enjoy some time with loved ones,” says Jocelyn Davis, Education and Sports Sales Manager at PenBev.
