Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages recognised as a Top Employer for 2019

IMMEDIATE PUBLICATION / BROADCAST 22 November 2019

Recognising employers that provide excellent employee conditions, nurture and develop talent throughout all levels of the organisation, and which strive to continuously optimise employment practices, the Top Employer’s Institute has unveiled its Top Employers 2020 for South Africa. Local bottler and distributor of the products of the Coca-Cola Company in the Western and Northern Cape, Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages (CCPB) has once again been recognised as one of South Africa’s top employers for the tenth consecutive year.

CCPB forms part of a list of 99 companies in the country that were assessed on having exceptional employee conditions and environments. “It is such a privilege and honour to be recognised as a Top Employer for 2020,” says Bryn Morse, Culture and People Development Director at CCPB. “What sets CCPB apart is the organisation’s focus on its team members, its culture and the values laying the foundation for the way we do things.” Morse believes that achieving a successful organisation comes down to treating all team members as

an important asset as well as to create an environment where everyone can be the best they can be.

Morse explains that, at CCPB, every team member is considered a leader, either of themselves or of others. “A large part of the organisation’s development focuses on leadership development to empower team members to take ownership of their own journey in life.” “In everything we do, we try to live out our purpose of refreshing our communities, inspiring moments of optimism and happiness, creating value and making a difference that matters. Having a shared purpose and working collectively toward a common set of objectives, enables us to provide quality customer service and Coca-Cola refreshments, delivered within arm’s reach of desire,” adds Morse. The Top Employer’s Institute evaluates organisations based on their talent strategy, workforce

planning, on-boarding, learning and development, performance management, leadership

development, career and succession management, compensation and benefits, and of course, company culture.
